Get To or Got To?

How many times have you said the phrase, “I’ve got to…”

  • I’ve got to go to work.
  • I’ve got to go to the grocery store.
  • I’ve got to go to the gym.

What if you changed it to I get to?

  • I get to go to work.
  • I get to go to the grocery store.
  • I get to go to the gym.

What a difference that would make, right?

We cannot always control our environment—what is going on in our world, how our children are behaving, or what new project will unexpectedly pop up at work.

But we can control our reaction—how we respond and with what kind of attitude and outlook.

We get to make choices to live our best lives.

We get to step into our power, today and every day.
